Who Are We?

Hey! We are Charlotte + Paul, the faces behind Bloom & Brew. We started our journey back in lockdown 2021 when we decided to combine our love for small, independent brands with our efforts of trying to reduce our waste and single use plastic and shop more ethically and threw in our nerdy obsession with coffee!

In October 2021 we got our keys to our very first store here in Ormskirk and haven't looked back since! We love the area, having lived locally for a long time and wanted to create a concept store to make sustainability accessible for more people! We took a space which was bare bones, plaster and concrete and spent 3 months of hard grafting creating our vision. We did all the work ourselves and continue to run the store day to day just the two of us! (And Jasper the sausage dog occasionally makes an appearance in his bed in the shop)

We call our shop a lifestyle concept store. "A concept store is a shop that sells a carefully curated and unique selection of products that connect to an overarching theme." - we sell many various types of products with the overarching theme of sustainable, supporting small businesses and being design-led. Homewares, prints, ceramics, soft furnishings, refill stations, zero waste tools, natural beauty and skincare, flowers, deli, coffee, cakes and so much more!

We wanted to create a warm and welcoming, relaxed space to shop beautiful products as well as providing freshly made speciality + locally roasted coffee so you can read a book with a cold brew in the sunshine or people watch with a fresh cake and an oat flat white in our window nook, either way, everyone is welcome here! (even your doggos!)
